COMPANY BENEFITS: Medical Dental Vision Life 401k Tuition Reimbursement Paid Holidays Employee Referral Program ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs lead role in the electrical design, development, test, analysis, manufacturing, and execution of multi-disciplinary projects, often on multiple programs simultaneously Generates robust designs considering ESD, EMI, and other challenging environments Creates and reviews complete drawing packages of electrical designs for manufacturing, cost, and quality assurance Leads prototyping, hardware assembly, development testing and product qualification Performs required calculations and generates comprehensive circuit analysis reports Takes a leading role in the management of departmental growth and other electrical tools Participates in candidate assessments and supports other hiring activities Supports technical proposals, quick-turn concept design, and presentation efforts Mentor and resource for more junior engineers and helps conduct performance reviews EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar Typically possesses significant experience in aerospace, defense, and/or avionics Detailed knowledge of military specifications and industry standards including IPC Proven experience in designing robust hardware that has undergone qualification testing Well versed with circuit simulations tools such as PSPICE and LTSPICE Advanced experience with testing/troubleshooting techniques Advanced experience with schematic capture, PCB layout and routing, and circuit board design principles using Altium Designer or similar Proficient experience developing automated test equipment apparatuses Experience utilizing serial communication protocols (RS-422, RS-485, MIL-STD-1553, etc.) and developing serial communication Hardware / Software Familiarity with C/C++/C#, Python, Matlab (Verilog and VHDL are a plus) Self-motivated, ability to multi-task, work independently on assignments with minimal oversight or direction, quality-oriented and safety conscious Possesses strong electrical aptitude as well as creativity in solving problems; able to track overall goals while focusing on details Must be a U.S. Citizen ITAR REQUIREMENTS: To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, certain positions may require applicants to be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
