Administrative Officer

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Administrative Officer performs a variety of complex professional administrative and office management functions, prepares correspondence; maintains departmental records and filing systems; conducts special projects; and performs other duties as assigned. Essential Functions Coordinates office services such as personnel, budget preparation and control, records control and special management studies and ensures that the work flow is efficient; Identifies ways to improve workflow; simplifies reporting procedures and implements work saving methods; Obtains research information for PHA projects; Serves as supervisor's designee at meetings when needed, ensuring consistent departmental communication is delivered to meeting attendees; may make commitments in accordance with the supervisor's thinking if so authorized; Prepares presentations and speeches for supervisor; Presents departmental information to diverse audiences throughout the Authority, using a variety of mediums, including audio-visual aids. Distribution Center Team Lead - Receiving

The Team Lead is a working lead who is responsible for directing the associates on daily work assignments as instructed by the Operations Supervisor. The Team Lead will also work in direct functions within the department they are assigned, as directed by their Manager or Supervisor. Verify ship-pack counts, UPC codes, price tickets and quality of merchandise. Ensure all merchandise is handled in a manner free of distress. Meet all safety requirements and conditions. Ensure all identification labels are accurately placed on pallets and cartons. Ensure all cartons placed on pallets are in a manner where damage cannot occur. Maintain a clean and organized work area by performing general housekeeping. Other tasks as assigned. What You'll Bring Must possess an ambitious, energetic, and can-do attitude. Ability to accurately enter data into the warehouse management system. Certified to operate required material handling equipment, with cherry picker and high reach experience preferred. Detailed knowledge of multiple areas within the distribution center. Strong organizational skills with the ability to be detailed oriented. Able to work with others in a positive manner and in a team environment, Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, Able to utilize RF, AS400, and/or warehouse management systems.
