Join a highly-skilled technical team of Laboratory Technologists in our Hematology area of the Central Laboratory at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Take on this important role, responsible for performing all patient tests, reading slides, performing quality control procedures as well as standard preventative maintenance. Here you'll have an opportunity to work with nationally accredited colleagues and contribute to lifesaving results. In this Senior position, you will function as a working Technologist who also assumes some responsibilities for the supervision and coordination of the activities of laboratory personnel in the performance of quantitative and qualitative tests, under the supervision of the Lead Technologist and Laboratory Supervisor. Relieves Lead Technologist during temporary absences. Great advancement opportunity for a Technologist! This position works 8 hour shifts that start as early as 730am (7:30am-3:30pm) and as late as 10am (10am-6pm) Monday through Friday with rotating weekends and holidays. Location is our Weill Cornell campus on Manhattan's Upper East Side.
