We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Physician specialized in Urology to provide high-quality care through clinic and call coverage in Silverdale, WA. In this vital role, you will perform a variety of bread-and-butter urological procedures, including cystoscopies, vasectomies, prostate biopsies, TURPs, uroflow studies, bladder scans, ureteroscopies, nephrectomies, cystectomies, ESWL, Botox injections, and more. You will be the sole provider in a vibrant, team-oriented setting, offering comprehensive general urological care in both clinic and hospital environments. The position includes on-call duties, with a mix of evening, overnight, and 24-hour call shifts. Candidates should exhibit excellent patient communication skills, be team players, and be comfortable managing high patient volumes approximately 20-25 patients daily, with 20-30 surgeries per month. The facility is equipped with robotic technology, offering support for both robotic and non-robotic procedures, and EMR documentation is via Epic. Support staff includes RNs, MAs, surgeons, schedulers, and administrative personnel to ensure smooth operations. Required Skills: Board eligibility or certification in Urology Proficiency in bread-and-butter urological procedures Strong patient and customer service skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment BLS and DEA certifications Ability to obtain credentialing at multiple facilities Nice to Have Skills: Experience with robotic surgeries (not mandatory) Prior experience with Epic EMR Flexibility in scheduling and call coverage Familiarity with hospital-based urological procedures Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) Urology residency training At least 3 months of locum or clinical experience in Urology Other Requirements: Must be available for a minimum of 3 months' coverage Willing to perform procedures and manage a busy patient load Travel accommodation preferences will be considered; local lodging preferred Credentialing must be completed within three weeks prior to start This role is ideal for proactive, adaptable urologists seeking a rewarding locum opportunity with flexible scheduling and competitive pay offering hourly rates between $450-$500, with additional compensation for call, holidays, and orientation.
