Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiac Stepdown Location: York, PA Agency: Lancesoft Inc Pay: $2,110 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position ⏱️ Shift Details Shift Type: Nights Schedule: 3×12‑hour shifts per week Shift Hours: 18:45 – 07:15 Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend 4 weekend shifts required per contract Float Requirement: Yes — may float to Med Surg, ED Hold, IMCU, Tele as needed ⭐ Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care for cardiac and intermediate‑level patients, including: Post cardiac surgery (CABG, valve repair/replacement) Post interventional cardiology (stents, ablations, pacemakers, cardiac cath) Heart failure, arrhythmias, ACS LVAD medical management and post-new implant (IMCU level) Thoracic surgery recoveries (VATS, esophagectomy, hiatal hernia repair) Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to acute changes Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips (non‑titrating) Perform advanced respiratory care: HFNC, CPAP/BiPAP, tracheostomy care Care for chest tubes (Emerson/PleurEvac), drains, ports, PICCs Provide pre‑ and post‑procedure care for cardioversion, bronchoscopy, mitral clip, TVAR, heart cath Use EPIC for charting and documentation Float as needed to Med Surg, ED Hold, Telemetry, or other areas within scope Requirements Experience Requirements Required Minimum 2 years of RN experience Must have Step‑Down, Tele, Cardiac, MS/Tele , or Intermediate Care experience Must be comfortable with 1:5 ratios on nights Preferred Cardiac experience strongly preferred First‑time travelers considered only with cardiac background EPIC charting experience heavily preferred Licensure & Certifications Required Certifications BLS (AHA or ARC only) ACLS (AHA or ARC only) Licensure Active RN license No license hits accepted (WellSpan = hard stop ) Facility Requirements COVID‑19 vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemption allowed) Flu vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemption only) Charting System EPIC — preferred and strongly recommended
