Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance staff. Foster a culture of "fixing it right the first time." Preventative Maintenance (PM): Implement and manage a rigorous PM program for guest rooms, laundry equipment, pool area, and PTAC units to minimize emergency repairs. Rapid Response: Coordinate quick-action repairs for guest-facing issues (plumbing, Wi-Fi, door locks, or lighting) to maintain high guest satisfaction scores. Safety Compliance: Ensure the property meets all Choice Hotels brand standards, OSHA regulations, and local Grapevine fire/safety codes. Facility Upkeep: Maintain the exterior "curb appeal," including the parking lot, signage, and seasonal pool maintenance. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience: 3 years in facility maintenance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or "lead" capacity (Hotel experience preferred). Technical Savvy: General knowledge of HVAC (EPA certification is a plus), plumbing, electrical systems, and drywall/paint. Problem Solver: Ability to think on your feet and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to interact with guests, staff, and ownership professionally.
