Family Medicine opening in VTLocated in NewportMontreal CN 100mFull-time; permanent20 provider multi-specialty practice in two locations with, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. Staffed currently with 9 physicians (3 IM, 1 geriatrician, 6 FPs) and 9 mid-levels (4 PAs, 5 FNPs). One part-time Psychiatrist and one full-time Psychiatric NP supports the practice. This is an out-patient focused job. Clinic work is 4 patient contact days and one administrative day per week. The volume of patients is patients per day. Medicine call is phone call only averaging 1/6. Additionally, hospitalist shifts can be done for more reimbursement at a competitive rate. Athena EMR is utilized. Hospital: Located in Newport, Vermont, serves a catchment area of 28,000, spread across three counties in northern Vermont on the Canadian border.
