Competitive base salary and overall compensation package 401 K with generous company match Full benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Generous PTO, vacation, sick, and holiday schedule Life Insurance coverage Job Details Senior Production Planner / Master Planner - Food Manufacturing We’re hiring a hands-on, detail-driven Senior Production Planner to lead production and inventory planning in a fast-paced, regulated food manufacturing environment. You’ll own the scheduling process, manage materials, and collaborate across departments to ensure we meet demand efficiently and on time. What You’ll Do Build and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to meet customer demand. Release and adjust production work orders based on material availability and shifting priorities. Coordinate raw materials and inventory for both make-to-stock and make-to-order products. Analyze production data using Excel (pivot tables, formulas, what-if models). Maintain ERP accuracy (BOMs, routings, inventory levels). Collaborate daily with Procurement, Operations, QA, Sales, R&D, and Logistics. Support process improvements, lean initiatives, and better planning tools. Must-Haves 5 years of production planning/scheduling in food or regulated manufacturing. Advanced Excel skills; Power Query, VBA, or SQL a plus. Experience with ERP systems (especially in growing or limited-capability environments). Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, modeling) and hands-on experience with ERP systems. Ability to create, manage, and adjust production schedules in alignment with demand, materials, and capacity. Solid understanding of MRP, MPS, BOMs, and inventory control techniques (e.g., Min/Max, ROP). Familiarity with JIT, Kanban, and hybrid inventory systems. Comfortable working in both office and production floor settings. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field (preferred). APICS CPIM or similar certification preferred.
