As a physician in the Coronary Intensive Care Unit (CICU) you will work in a 24-bed unit that specializes in the care of non-surgical cardiac patients, including cardiogenic shock, advanced heart failure, cardiac arrest, STEMI, pulmonary hypertension, pulmonary embolism, unstable arrhythmias, and percutaneous valvular interventions. The CICU manages several advanced therapies such as pulmonary artery catheters, CRRT, Impellas, LVADs, IABPs and ventilators.
