Your role at Baxter The Field Service Technician I will perform functions related to product readiness for patient utilization on a wide range of rental and customer owned medical products. While this person is in training, their schedule will be Monday–Friday, ~8:00am–4:30pm. Once fully ramped up, the schedule shifts to Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, ~8:00am–4:30pm, with Wednesday and Thursday off. What you'll be doing Move and inspect medical products within Baxter service centers, healthcare facilities, and private homes. Perform routine cleaning & preventative maintenance on Baxter products. Provide on-call coverage, up to 24/7 basis including weekends and holidays, which may require customer account visits. Sustain a clean and safe work environment, including 5S activities (sort, set in-order, sweep, standardize and sustain). Safely operate a company vehicle ranging in size from a cargo van up to a 26,000-pound truck. Ability to lift and carry up to 65 pounds using appropriate processes, including proper safety and ergonomic procedures. Must wear proper PPE including safety shoes, eye protection, gloves, and protective clothing. Gloves supplied include both latex and non-latex materials. Job Description Who We Are: We are looking for entry-level (no experience) and experienced cardiac Analysis Technicians to join our Clinical Services team who are passionate about ECG interpretation and helping cardiac patients through our innovative remote patient monitoring body sensor technologies. The right individuals will join a multi-faceted and fast-paced environment with many career advancement opportunities. Primary duties include, but are not limited to, learning how to interpret ECG arrhythmias, and analyzing cardiac patient data and related algorithm findings from Carnation Ambulatory Monitors (CAMs) to produce high-quality cardiac monitoring reports for our clinical customers. What You'll Do: Process, analyze, interpret, and edit ECG cardiac data for clinical accuracy and completeness. Identify and effectively communicate ECG abnormalities that meet established notification criteria. Build CAM reports including summary of findings and applicable ECG strips according to established standards. Achieve and maintain monthly metric goals for quality and productivity. Maintain compliance with job-specific proficiency requirements including but not limited to a CRAT or CCT certification through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Receive detailed feedback and evaluation scores from Internal Review Technicians on every ECG report prepared. Review feedback regularly and make necessary report corrections as delegated. Under direction of assigned Electrophysiology Mentor, participate in assigned technician group to request clarification and assistance on difficult ECG interpretations and/or following policies and procedures for workflow. Submit confirmation requests to expert analysis team to confirm advanced ECG interpretations and any ECG data that may meet established notification criteria. Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the worksite. What You'll Bring: High school diploma or equivalent Must pass the ECG Training Course upon hire with a 75% or better and/or pass the Pre-Employment ECG Exam prior to employment. Must pass the BDx Software Training Course upon hire. Must obtain CRAT or CCT certification within 12 months of hire date if not already certified. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detailed responsibilities: * STRATEGIC INITIATIVE - Active participation in nursing strategic initiatives such as quality improvement and monitoring, TJC compliance, Magnet Recognition, recruitment and retention of staff and patient and employee satisfaction * SHARED GOVERNANCE - Support and implement the UNMH shared governance model * INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT - Using independent judgment assign nursing personnel and staff to specific patients * ASSIGNMENT - Designate shift and schedule assignments; assign duties in accordance with the plan of care, patient needs, and within the scope of staff qualifications and licensure/certification/registry * ACCOUNTABILITY - Supervise and direct staff providing patient care; accountable for care provided to patients on assigned shift * LIAISON - Act as liaison as necessary between physicians, staff, patients, families, and other departments to promote and facilitate communication, problem solving, decision-making, crisis intervention, resource utilization, and conflict management * SUPERVISION - Develop efficient organizational structure.
