Responsible for the direct supervision and overall control of the data integrity related to loan maintenances and booking (QC), audits, loan general ledger reconciliation and exceptions investigation, department self audits, and core system maintenances. The Prototype Technician is responsible for independently building and validating complex cable and electromechanical assemblies in a fast-paced prototype environment. This role partners closely with Engineering to interpret evolving designs, troubleshoot issues, and improve manufacturability while ensuring compliance with applicable industry standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Mentor less-experienced assemblers and demonstrate assembly processes per the applicable standards. • Complete prototype or first article assemblies. • Ability to read, interpret, assemble and form recommendations on electromechanical drawings, specifications and processes. • Complete complex cable and harness assemblies based on schematics & drawings with minimal oversight. • Documentation and tracking of processes and findings related to experiments, builds, root-cause analysis, etc. • Read and interpret wire diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and schematics for cable assemblies. • Assemble cable/wire harnesses in accordance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and all applicable specifications. • Inspect finished assemblies in accordance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and all applicable specifications. • Work with Engineering to propose and implement process updates. • Work with Engineering to troubleshoot and rework failures. • Work with Engineering to use, program and recommend equipment to enhance processes. • Working knowledge of all special processes required for cable/wire harness assembly. • Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor. Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours/week, weekends off Compensation: Pay range from $31,064.80 - $39,520.00 annually, depending on renal experience; experience preferred Benefits: Training, support and mentorship opportunities provided by clinic and corporate teams for individuals new to renal care Comprehensive medical, dental and vision benefits Life insurance provided at no additional expense to employee Paid time off (PTO) including holidays Extended Sick Bank (ESB) in addition to PTO – paid time for doctor appointments, sickness or medical leave Retirement plans with $.50 of each contributed dollar matched for eligible employees, up to 8 percent Employee assistance program Wellness program Among others Responsibilities What You Can Expect: Assist patients with making diet and nutrition choices that improve their quality of life Complete comprehensive nutrition assessment for all new and at-risk patients Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and patient to develop and implement individualized care plans based on nutritional assessment; review monthly and document progress toward established goals Identify specific interventions necessary to meet nutritional needs based on evidence-based guidelines, best practices and current research Educate patient and family/caregiver about renal diet and fluid management Monitor monthly laboratory results and weight changes, make recommendations to meet established goals Utilize a patient-centered care approach, respecting and responding to individual and cultural preferences while encouraging engagement Participate in Quality Assessment Performance Improvement process, documenting and attending meetings per clinic policy Compile and create nutrition materials to promote adherence to renal diet guidelines Communicate nutrition concerns with care team, including attending physicians Share kidney disease and nutrition advances with care team as needed Successful Candidates Bring: Excellent communication skills Demonstrated clinical proficiency Desire to collaborate with care teams Ability to problem solve Education/Training: Must be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with Commission on Dietetic Registration Minimum one year professional work experience in clinical nutrition as a registered dietitian (after successful completion of registration exam) required Previous renal care experience preferred, not required Job shadow opportunities available DCI’s Differentiator: Since opening the first clinic 50 years ago in Nashville, Tenn., our Dialysis Clinic, Inc. family has grown to be the nation’s largest nonprofit dialysis provider with more than 270 locations in 30 states, serving nearly 14,000 patients each day.
