Georgia Full-time $13.00 – $15.00 per hour ⸻ Job Summary Chadon Health Services, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dependable CNA Companion Caregiver to provide non-medical, in-home care services. Caregivers assist clients with activities of daily living in accordance with an individualized care plan developed by a supervisor and maintained in the client’s home. All services are provided under the supervision of the Administrator and Client Services Supervisor and in compliance with applicable Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) regulations for personal care homes and private home care providers. ⸻ Qualifications • Minimum of three (3) years of satisfactory caregiving experience • Must be at least 18 years of age • High school diploma or GED preferred • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English • Must demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and respect for client confidentiality (HIPAA compliant) • Must be physically able to perform job duties • Must have reliable transportation (may transport clients if approved) ⸻ Georgia Compliance Requirements (DCH) • Must successfully complete a criminal background check in accordance with Georgia law • Must be eligible for and maintain clearance through the Georgia Long-Term Care Background Check Program (GCHEXS) • Must complete required pre-employment health screening, including TB testing • Must maintain current CPR and First Aid certification • Must complete orientation and ongoing in-service training as required by Georgia DCH • Must comply with all infection control, client rights, and abuse/neglect reporting requirements • Must follow agency policies aligned with Georgia Private Home Care Provider (PHCP) standards ⸻ Duties and Responsibilities • Assist with meal planning and preparation based on client dietary needs • Perform light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, bed linens, bathroom upkeep) • Provide companionship, engagement, and supervision • Accompany clients to appointments and activities as needed • Run errands such as grocery shopping • Observe and report changes in client condition to supervisor • Follow care plans and agency policies at all times • Participate in required training and in-service education ⸻ Work Environment Services are provided in clients’ homes.
