Physician Endocrinology - Competitive Salary
Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a BE/BC Endocrinologist to join an endocrine and diabetes team in Rockford, Illinois. This is a busy community-based outpatient practice with consult-only hospital coverage, strong patient demand, and the opportunity to help shape a growing program. You will work alongside a collaborative team with on-site certified diabetes educators, clinical dietitians, and clinical pharmacists. The practice also includes a newly renovated clinic, access to an ADA-recognized diabetes education program, and opportunities to expand clinical services. Practice Highlights Work alongside a team of three endocrinologists and one APP. On-site certified diabetic educators, clinical dieticians, and clinical pharmacists. Newly renovated state-of-the-art clinic. Access to an ADA-recognized diabetes education program with RN and RD educators. Extended support from endocrine surgery on site and access to oncologic subspecialists. Academic appointment and teaching opportunities available through the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford. Qualifications MD or DO required. Active DEA license, or ability to apply prior to or upon hire, required. Active Illinois medical license required. Board Certification or Board Eligible in Endocrinology required. Board certification must be obtained within 5 years if board eligible. Bi-annual CPR certification preferred. Benefits Competitive salary range based on experience: $312,357 - $374,306.
