This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who especially enjoys surgery and dentistry while also wanting a well-rounded role that includes appointments, diagnostics, and everyday patient care. You’ll have the chance to use your technical skills in a variety of ways while growing within a supportive team environment. \n What You’ll Do\n \n Assist in surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and post-op recovery \n Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs \n Support appointments by obtaining histories, restraining patients, and assisting the DVM during exams \n Collect samples and perform in-house laboratory diagnostics \n Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the DVM \n Prepare patients and exam rooms for appointments \n Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and home care \n Maintain accurate patient medical records \n Plus more! \n \n What We’re Looking For\n \n Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) or eligible to sit for the VTNE \n Someone who enjoys surgery and dentistry while being excited to support all areas of the hospital \n Curious lifelong learners who want to grow and thrive in a dynamic and fulfilling career \n People obsessed with pets and their care \n \n \n Benefits: VCA offers a comprehensive benefits package to support the health, well-being, and professional development of its associates.
