Participate in patient stabilization, minor procedures, and critical interventions as required. Support mental health evaluations, with protocols in place for admissions when psychiatric facilities are at capacity. Qualifications: Board Certification or Eligibility in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or equivalent. Open to summer 2025 graduates with appropriate training. Prior experience in a Level 2 trauma setting preferred but not mandatory. Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and teamwork ethic. Ability to work 10-hour shifts, averaging approximately 2.0-2.2 patients per hour. Comfortable working with electronic health records, including Cerner FirstNet EMR system.
