Anesthesiology - Cardiac Physician

Location: Albany, Located in the heart of New York s Capital District, is a medium sized area with an approximate population of 98,000, offering all the amenities of a larger urban area in a beautiful, scenic, and affordable setting. Facility: Acute care community hospital in northeastern New York state. Provides 442 beds and has more than 900 staff physicians and nearly 6,000 employees. Opportunity: Practice setting: high volume inpatient heart center Number of Operating Rooms: 30 Schedule: variable- 8,10,12 hour shifts On call: The call rotation is 1:5 with first call every eighth night, no second call. Cases are primarily cardiac and vascular, there is no OB or trauma. Provide anesthesia care for patients undergoing cardiac surgical procedures, including CABG, valve replacements, and other complex cardiac surgeries.
