SUMMARY: First Horizon Audit and Assurance Services (AAS) provides independent and objective audit, advisory, and strategic assurance services to various business units or functions in support of the company's enterprise-wide audit program. The Professional Practices Sr. Analyst is part of the Professional Practices Group (PPG) within the Quality and Efficiency Services function of AAS. The Professional Practices Group provides reporting on the AAS function to ensure conformance with department standards, plans, budgets and schedules and report on the effectiveness and efficiency of operations. The position will help provide assurance the AAS activity is in conformance with all applicable organizational and professional standards. The position requires the ability to maintain effective working relations with management and audit staff members. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains methodology, process, workflow, training, and procedure documentation. Works with the Professional Practices Manager (PPM) to determine improvements to enhance efficiency, necessary updates, and implementation. Uses data to develop reports on the performance of the internal audit activity to review compliance with department and corporate guidance, industry, regulatory, and Institute of Internal Auditor Standards. Is an assistant TeamMate administrator and maintains the AAS sharepoint site. Serves as the central point of contact for First Horizon procurement on behalf of the AAS department. Is a liaison with external stakeholders, including but not limited to, procurement, third party risk management, regulatory relations, and other departments within First Horizon. In conjunction with others on the PPG team, serves as a knowledge resource for systems, processes, workflow, and procedures for the Internal Audit group. Develops and maintains productive staff relationships through individual contacts and group meetings/trainings. Complete other special assignments and projects for the department as instructed by the Professional Practices Manager. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
