AP/CP Board Certified Surgical Pathologist needed in Metro Northwest Ohio (1 hour to Detroit) A leading independent pathology services and cancer diagnostics company is seeking an AP/CP Board Certified Surgical Pathologist to join our laboratory in Metro Northwest Ohio. The position requires the ability to perform a broad-spectrum of pathology including complex surgical cases, frozen sections, bone marrows and fine-needle aspirates, gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytopathology and clinical laboratory duties. The candidate must be willing to serve on hospital committees and be an active participant in interdisciplinary conferences. The candidate should also have the ability to work independently, have excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with clinicians, administrators and laboratory staff. Applicants must hold an MD or DO degree, be board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and be eligible for unrestricted Ohio and Michigan licenses. Fellowship training is preferred but not required. A minimum of three-five years of experience is preferred. The positon includes a competitive salary, benefits package, CME and paid time off.
