DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Deep experience in federal, state and local government contracting including solicitation review, bid and proposal support, negotiation, compliance, performance, dispute resolution, and contract closeout. Advise on Requests for Equitable Adjustments (REAs), contract modifications, and claims, including strategy, drafting, and negotiation. Advise internal stakeholders on all aspects of government acquisition laws and regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and agency-specific regulations. Draft, review, and negotiate government contracts, subcontracts, teaming agreements, joint venture agreements, NDAs, leases, and other related documents. Draft formal correspondence, including notices required by the terms of a contract, responses to formal notices received from external parties, including government customers, subcontractors, and vendors, and other corporate matters. Formal correspondence covers a wide range of topics, including delays, changes to the scope of work (change orders), payment issues, project milestones, performance deficiencies, and intent to terminate. Conduct legal research, provide legal analysis, and prepare written opinions and other documents in support of BSNC’s contracts as required. Provide counsel on small business programs, set-asides, socioeconomic certifications, and compliance obligations (e.g., SBA regulations, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), 8(a) programs). Support internal and external audits and investigations, including responses to DCAA, DCMA, IG, GAO, and other agency inquiries. Advise on compliance matters related to cybersecurity requirements (e.g., CMMC, NIST 800-171), export controls (ITAR, EAR), Truthful Cose or Pricing Data, and mandatory disclosure obligations. Monitor regulatory changes affecting government contracting and communicate impacts to stakeholders. Assist with internal training programs on government contracting compliance and best practices. Support dispute resolution matters, including bid protests (GAO, COFC), contract claims and appeals, terminations, and litigation strategy. Collaborate cross-functionally to develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure contractual obligations are properly managed. Interact with external counsel, government contracting officers, and regulator agencies as needed. Oversee outside counsel and litigation. Perform other duties as assigned by the General Counsel. Required (Minimum) Qualifications J.D from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in any U.S. state. At least 5 years of relevant legal experience. Deep knowledge of federal acquisition regulations, bid protest procedures and compliance obligations. In-depth understanding of the FAR, DFARS, and federal procurement lifecycle. Sr. Vehicle Maintenance Technician/NonDOT
