In addition to imaging performed at CHAM, pediatric radiology studies at several other surrounding hospitals and imaging centers are fed into our division. The Pediatric Radiology division also offers a one year fellowship. The ideal candidate will participate in teaching fellows, residents and medical students. The New Mexico VA Health Care System and the University of New Mexico (UNM) Cancer Center are seeking applications for the position of staff physician in an expanding Section of Hematology/Oncology at the NMVAHCS. The NMVAHCS Hematology/Oncology program is the major academic affiliate of the UNM Division of Hematology/Oncology and the UNM Cancer Center, an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. This individual will also collaborate closely with the Divisional and Cancer Center Leadership at UNM. The Staff Physician, Section of Hematology/Oncology will have a major teaching role within the Division including its fellowship program. Qualified applicants will have an MD, current medical license and be board-certified or eligible in Hematology and/or Oncology.
