Participate in the development and evaluation of provider and member education programs focused on health promotion, disease prevention, and health literacy. Represent PCHP on clinical matters with external agencies such as Texas Department of Insurance, Texas Health and Human Services Commission, and Texas Medical Association. Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance clinical workflows, effectiveness, and overall program efficiency. Serve on and chair clinical or managed care committees, contributing to community outreach and interdisciplinary collaborations. Qualifications: Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is mandatory; recertification must be current. Valid medical license to practice in Texas with a clean malpractice history. Prior experience in managed care, utilization management, or clinical oversight in a hospital or health plan setting preferred. Strong understanding of Texas Medicaid regulations, managed care principles, and quality improvement methodologies. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders including providers, community organizations, and regulatory bodies. Demonstrated ability to interpret clinical data, develop policies, and implement process improvements. Familiarity with pharmacy and behavioral health integration in care management is advantageous. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism. Proficiency in computer applications related to clinical and administrative functions.
