Job Description Job Description SUMMARY The CNC Lathe Machinist III is required to set-up and run the most complex proven or new parts with little to no supervision. Responsible for the machining of products to meet customer specifications. Operation and light set-up would be done by selecting and installing tooling, updating fixtures, and pulling CNC machining programs. Job Description Job Description Commercial HVAC TAB Estimator Location: Cincinnati, Ohio (Full-Time) We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Commercial HVAC Test & Balance (TAB) Estimator to join our growing national team. In this role, you will prepare accurate and competitive bids for Testing, Adjusting & Balancing (TAB) projects and related services for clients across the country. National TAB is a NEBB Certified national Testing, Adjusting & Balancing (TAB) company. We deliver “ Comfort under Control ” through expert TAB services, commissioning, facilities evaluation, IAQ testing & monitoring, and supporting product solutions. We act as a true partner for clients from pre-construction through ongoing facility operations. We serve mechanical & general contractors, equipment suppliers, national chains, schools, and public/private institutions nationwide. Commercial HVC TAB Estimator Key Responsibilities Review incoming bid opportunities and determine which projects align with our strengths. Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project documents to prepare detailed, competitive cost estimates for TAB, duct leakage testing, commissioning, IAQ services, and related scopes. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, sales, and subcontractors to refine scope and ensure estimates are accurate and winning. Prepare clear, professional proposals, bids, and quotes in a timely manner. Maintain and improve estimating tools, historical pricing data, Excel models, and our CRM (Pipedrive). Participate in bid review and strategy meetings. Proactively reach out to general contractors, owners, architects, and vendors (phone, email, meetings) to clarify details, build relationships, and uncover new opportunities. Qualifications 1 years of experience as an estimator in commercial HVAC, mechanical contracting, or general construction (candidates with related field experience will be considered). Understanding of commercial HVAC systems, ductwork, equipment, and industry standards. Excellent communication skills — confident initiating outreach and discussions with clients and partners. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with estimating software is a big plus but not required. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents. Detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of managing multiple bids under deadlines. Self-motivated team player with a passion for the construction/HVAC industry.
