How you'll contribute A Cat Scan Technician (CT) who excels in this role: Reviews patient history and physician's orders. Educates patients on procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation. Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice when ordered. Monitors patient condition and responds to changes appropriately. Prepares equipment and supplies; implements safety standards and performs quality control checks. Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions. Positions patients and performs imaging procedures. Analyzes imaging results, identifies quality issues, and takes corrective action, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures if needed. Enters, transmits, and reports scan results.
