A Hall Operator in wire manufacturing sets up, runs, and maintains wire processing machinery (like winders, cutters, or EDM machines) to produce cables/wires according to specs, performing quality checks with measuring tools (micrometers, calipers), managing materials (loading/unloading reels), keeping records (production logs, travelers), and ensuring a clean, safe work area, often handling tasks from simple assembly to minor maintenance, requiring strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions for quality output. Key Responsibilities: Machine Operation: Set up, start, and monitor specialized wire/cable machinery (e.g., wire EDM, slitting, winding, extrusion, twisting). Material Handling: Load raw wire reels, unload finished products, and transport materials to designated areas. Quality Control: Use measuring tools (micrometers, calipers) to check dimensions, visually inspect for defects, and verify products meet specifications on production orders/travelers.
