POSITION SUMMARY: The Structural Engineer will support the Lead Design Engineer in designing structures responsible for mounting ceiling-suspended operating room equipment, including surgical lights, anesthesia booms, and air circulation systems. This requires integrating supplemental steel and other materials into steel or concrete framework. A strong understanding of designing secondary structures and systems is crucial for this position. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Autodesk Inventor software including SolidWorks, Revit, AutoCAD and Fusion 360, and have experience reading and analyzing structural plans. Create a bill of materials for each assembly/mount design for ordering / inventory purposes.
