This role is responsible for performing routine and advanced tasks related to system operation, testing, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience running wastewater systems and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards. Why join us? $80,000 - $90,000 per year depending on Experience Room for Growth Flexible Schedule Job Details Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor wastewater treatment systems to maintain proper flow, chemical balance, and regulatory compliance. Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on pumps, valves, piping, blowers, and other wastewater equipment. Conduct routine tests and sampling to evaluate system performance and document results. Safely remove, manage, and transport leachate following established procedures and environmental guidelines. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate logs, maintenance records, and operational reports. Collaborate with plant operators, maintenance personnel, and environmental staff to support facility performance. Work a flexible schedule based on operational needs, including possible weekends or on-call rotations. Qualifications Experience working with wastewater treatment systems, industrial equipment, or similar mechanical environments. Strong mechanical skills with the ability to repair and maintain pumps, motors, and related components. Ability to perform testing, sampling, and basic laboratory procedures. Knowledge of safety procedures, environmental regulations, and proper handling of leachate and chemicals.
