Job Details\n \n Position: Travel NICU Registered Nurse \n Setting: Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) \n Location: Fargo, ND \n Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360 - $2,480 \n Hours Per Week: 36 \n Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts \n Schedule: Rotating shifts with every other weekend required \n Assignment Length: 12 weeks \n Charting System: Epic \n Care Setting: Acute care \n Openings: 3 \n Job Requirements\n \n At least 2 years of NICU nursing experience \n Active RN license with eligibility for North Dakota and Compact licensure \n Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association \n Current NRP certification \n Experience in a Level III NICU strongly preferred \n Ability and willingness to float to PICU and Pediatrics within scope \n Epic experience highly preferred \n Ability to provide skills checklists with submission \n Strong neonatal assessment, critical thinking, and clinical support skills \n Responsibilities\n \n Deliver comprehensive neonatal nursing care, including assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, and documentation \n Support procedures such as intubation, spinal taps, PICC line placement, IV starts, and admissions \n Care for infants requiring ventilatory support, CPAP, nasal cannula, and oxygen therapy \n Administer oral and IV medications, manage umbilical lines, and assist with OG/NG feedings and G-tubes \n Monitor critically ill, intermediate, and growing infants while maintaining appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios \n Collaborate with the NICU team to promote safe, high-quality outcomes for newborns and families \n Participate in unit orientation, including Epic training and guided support for a smooth transition into this travel nursing role \n \n Apply now for this Travel NICU Registered Nurse opportunity in Fargo, North Dakota, and join a healthcare team dedicated to exceptional neonatal care.
