Read and interpret Engineering drawings and documentation, and collaborate with the design team in a fluid design/test environment. A working knowledge of production part processes: sheet-metal, plastic forming, and machining manufacturing methods. Experience with power distribution equipment for 240-690V AC systems. Pro-E CAD modeling experience. SAP software experience.

SEWERAGE LIFT STATION INSPECTOR

Jefferson Parish Sewerage Department is hiring for multiple Sewerage Lift Station Inspectors. Kind of Work: Under general supervision, the purpose of the position is to perform inspections of operating and equipment conditions as well as perform routine mechanical maintenance work at sewerage lift and pumping stations on an assigned route of the Parish. Employees in this classification are responsible for inspecting equipment operating conditions, adjusting settings and conditions, and performing minor maintenance to ensure uninterrupted flow of Parish sewerage operations.
