Job Responsibilities: Provide gastroenterology services in a hospital setting. Perform ERCP procedures as required. Collaborate with a team that includes hospitalist support and two colorectal surgeons in the community. Manage patient care through a nearby GI clinic, located less than half a mile from the hospital. Engage in 24-hour call coverage from Monday to Thursday. Maintain a small-town atmosphere while leveraging big-city amenities for patient care. Qualifications: Board Certified in Gastroenterology. Current Michigan medical license (required). Ability to perform ERCP (required). No malpractice history. Local provider preferred but not mandatory. DEA certification by the start date. License and Certification Requirements: Michigan medical license (will only accept IMLC if dates are 60 days out with proof of LOQ). Current DEA registration. Up-to-date immunizations: Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, Flu (current season), and TDAP (within the last 10 years). TB test documentation (within the last 12 months).
