Internal Medicine Physician opportunity in Sac City, IA Omaha 115m; Des Moines 135m Job Description: Seeking a Internal Medicine Physician Established team of 3 physicians and 2 APPs serving the Sac City and Lake City areas Opportunity to practice outpatient and inpatient medicine in an established and well-known clinic and hospital Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences Full-time position including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical who know the patients extremely well Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination Responsibilities: Practice is a mix of inpatient and outpatient medicine Emergency Medicine is optional General procedures such as join injections, skin excisions, lacerations, casting, etc. Evaluates, interprets, and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills Qualifications: MD or DO Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physicians field of practice Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt) J-1 waiver sponsorship available Benefits: 2-year salary guarantee with ability to exceed on an innovative compensation program Initial Attractive incentive package Comprehensive benefits package; generous time off and CME allowance, malpractice insurance, retirement contributions and more Dedicated provider resources to positively impact providers work-life balance About the Group: A non-profit 900-member physician group practice serving 2,000,000 patients from 280 locations in Iowa and Illinois.
