The unit offers three levels of care: Floor, Telemetry, and Intermediate Medical Care (IMC). Services provided: IMC patient arrythmia management, BiPAP/CPAP, bedside bronchoscopy, Thoracic surgery (lung resections, pneumonectomy, esophagectomy), Trauma, Urology (RRP, TURP), and variety of other general surgery patients. The Registered Nurse Lead (RN) will help lead different initiatives and support the Nurse Manager in the day-to-day operations of the unit, provide resources to staff and help provide patient care. This role is vital in ensuring the unit runs smoothly. Qualifications : Bachelor degree in Nursing required Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required BLS CPR certification required RN work experience required; 2 years of PCU or higher acuity experience preferred The abilty to provide guidance and direction to staff and acts in the absence of the Assistant Nurse Manager/Nurse Manager to oversee a clinical team during care delivery and unit operations.
