Responsibilities: Provides occupational therapy specialized care services for patients admitted in the ICU assisting them to reach highest level of functional independence. Patient population including but not limited to: LVAD, IABP, ECMO, and Heart Transplant. Conducts occupational therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments. Specialized in care for complex patient types through advanced training and education. Responsible for the care of patients treated by certified occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers. Qualifications: Education Bachelors degree in occupational therapy. Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a BS, MS, or OTD. Must maintain current CEUs as required by the State.
