Physician Assistants play a vital role on collaborative care teams, managing a broad scope of family medicine cases while working closely with experienced physicians and advanced practice colleagues in a supportive, community‑focused environment.]( [ ]( ]( [ About the opportunity:]( [ ]( Advanced Practice Provider will work under the direction of designated Colorado Mountain (CMM) Physicians to provide health care services and complete associated administrative duties.]( [ ]( ]( [ ]( you will do:]( [ ]( ]( Practices in accordance with relevant Vail Health and State of Colorado Bylaws; Rules and Regulations; and Policies and Procedures. Supports the coordination of the daily patient flow to optimize patient care, safety, and satisfaction. Maintains confidentiality of patient, staff, and hospital administration. Provides care within scope of practice as established by the privileges granted through the Vail Health Medical Staff Office. Exercises competency in assessment, diagnosis, treatment and education/counseling to assure high standards of patient care, patient satisfaction and patient safety. Displays and promotes professional, courteous, and collaborative interaction with patients/families, providers, staff, other Vail Helalth departments, and leadership in meeting patient care needs and promoting teamwork. Demonstrates ability to delegate care appropriately and according to Colorado statute.
