Job Description Job Description Commercial HVAC Technician Dynamic Mechanical Solutions – Dallas, TX Position Summary Dynamic Mechanical Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial HVAC equipment while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform disassembly and reassembly of both large and small commercial HVAC equipment. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC systems and related components. Perform planned preventative maintenance as outlined in customer service agreements. Complete service contracts, quoted projects, and service calls efficiently while maintaining company profitability. Build and maintain long-term customer relationships by providing professional service and ensuring customer satisfaction. Participate in an on-call/standby rotation schedule as directed by management. Safely operate company vehicles and maintain compliance with company vehicle driving policies and insurance requirements based on driving record standards. Purchase necessary materials and obtain purchase order numbers when ordering from suppliers. Maintain company equipment, tools, and inventory stock on assigned service vehicles. Document service work accurately and submit required reports, work orders, and service documentation in a timely manner. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and industry regulations. Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch personnel, and management regarding job status and recommendations. Qualifications Experience servicing and repairing commercial HVAC systems. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Knowledge of HVAC controls, electrical systems, refrigeration cycles, and mechanical equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment and materials as required. EPA Certification preferred. HVAC trade school certification or equivalent field experience preferred. Ability to pass a background check Physical Requirements Ability to work in varying weather conditions and indoor/outdoor environments. Ability to climb ladders, work on rooftops, and access mechanical rooms. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds or more as required. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
