Directs employees needing to utilize the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) to the coordinating company if needed and accurately processes all the documentation pertaining to FMLA and personal leave requests. THIS IS IN DIRECT COMMUNICATION WITH BTD HQ. Oversees and adequately guides management on disciplinary actions for employees when needed; consulting with BTD HQ prior to delivery. Effectively maintains, administers, scans, and tracks all 90 day, 6 month and annual evaluations. Document all dicsiplinary actions that would be needed for BTD HQ to process unemployment claims and hearings in a timely manner when necessary. For all insurance benefits, ensure all the following are accurately completed and timely: new hire and open enrollment including all supporting documents for dependents; changes (following qualifying event rules when applicable); employee questions and/or problems; terminations from benefits; porting of any insurance benefits after termination; coordinates and oversees the Wellness initiatives and programs. Effectively manages 401k enrollment beneficiary form; directs employees to Fidelity on questions pertaining to their account. Promotes the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to management and employees when needed. Assists in resolving employee and management conflict effectively and when needed. Accurately manages the uniform program including orders, changes and weekly invoicing; in conjunctions with BTD HQ. Executes and oversees drug and alcohol program including, randoms, new hires, reasonable cause, and post accident. Prepares and processes letters to employees and ex-employees for multiple reasons in a professional manner. Only approved letters from BTD HQ. 21. Proficiently makes suggestions on improving company policies and procedures and generates the manual updates related to those changes. 22. Processes employee concerns or issues and investigates and researches the needed information to accurately answer the concern or question. 23. Researches and answers any suggestion assigned in a timely manner. 24. Ensures the updates to the company employment posters in a timely manner. 25. Creates and organizes annual employee attendance awards, orders needed plaques (for Batesville Tool & Die (BTD) clocks, and jackets. 26. Organizes and successfully plans employee retirements: luncheons and dinners as needed. 27. Effectively backs up workers compensation administration. 28.
