The Nocturnist APP will work collaboratively with hospitalist physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to manage hospitalized patients during overnight hours. The ideal candidate is clinically confident, comfortable working independently, and able to manage a wide range of acute inpatient clinical scenarios. In addition to onsite responsibilities at Intermountain Medical Center, the APP will provide telehealth hospitalist services at our telehealth hub, including cross-cover support for rural hospitals, responding to care-related questions, and evaluating hospitalized patients experiencing clinical changes. The role also includes participation in Hospital at Home services, assisting with cross-cover and admissions through virtual patient assessments for patients in their home. This position offers a unique opportunity to practice at the intersection of inpatient medicine and innovative virtual care delivery while supporting high-quality overnight coverage across multiple care settings.
