Job Summary Principal Consultant — fully remote, US-based. Responsible for problem definition and discovery, guiding project teams, and driving technical relationships with customers and partners. Provides advanced architecture, implementation, and operational support for security solutions. Responsibilities Work with customers to articulate business requirements and translate them into security features and functionality. Assist in developing cyber engagement plans that enable customers to execute strategies. Rationalize security solutions against requirements, risk, and constraints. Lead and deliver complex projects, presenting to large groups and influencing client audiences. Modify and adapt methodologies as required. Contribute to industry groups and publications. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and approximately 10–15 years of related experience. 8–10 years of technical architecture experience with implementation, administration, and maturation of Endpoint Detection and Response, Mobile Device Management, and Application Control technologies. Primary expertise with Microsoft Defender and Intune, including on-prem and cloud services. Experience with CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Tanium, Microsoft. Knowledge of security architecture frameworks such as SABSA, TOGAF, or O-ESA. Strong understanding of vulnerability assessment, data classification, privacy assessments, incident response, security policy creation, enterprise security strategies, architectures, and governance. Network fundamentals (TCP/IP, OSI model), operating systems (Windows, Unix, mainframe), security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS), and scripting languages (C, Java, Perl, Shell). Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance issues (PCI DSS, GLBA, Basel II, EU Data Protection Directive, etc.). Experience integrating data protection software, network architecture design, implementation, and administration. Working knowledge of virtual machine environments, mainframe security packages, and relational databases. Valid US driver’s license and passport; willingness to travel. Professional certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA) or willingness to pursue them. Strong interpersonal, written, and presentation skills; high integrity and confidentiality.
