The Bike Shop is seeking a Prototype Electrical Fabrication Technician What you will do Fabricating electrical hardware from drawings, schematics, 3D models, written notes and verbal instruction. Co-developing electronic, electro-optical, electro-mechanical and mechanical assemblies. Originating and performing methods to verify, troubleshoot and analyze new hardware. Performing electrical layout, construction, modification, testing, adjustment, verification and prove-in of prototype electronic equipment. Attending electrical/mechanical engineering drawing peer reviews to provide critical input to translate engineering design specifications into producible prototypes. Assessing designs, ensuring producibility, maintainability, safety and reliability Fabricating basic circuits and harnesses to meet quick turn requirements. May be required to work inside of a closed or (SCIF) Sensitive Compartment Information Facility area. Qualifications You Must Have HS Diploma or AS/AA degree (or other two year post high school training), with a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience Four (4) or more years of experience fabricating and testing electrical assemblies in two or more of the following areas: cables, wire harnesses, breakout boxes or chassis. Previous work experience reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics.
