Government Affairs promotes a political and regulatory environment favorable to CHSs growth and innovation, while managing legislative and regulatory risk. Responsibilities We are seeking a Director of State Government Affairs to develop, lead and execute strategies to influence state-level public policy and legislation. The Director will identify legislative and regulatory developments that impact CHS, create opportunities for engagement, and drive positive policy outcomes. This role will report to the Vice President of Government Affairs, with a preference for the Director to be based at headquarters in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota (in the greater Twin Cities region). Responsibilities Develop a proactive state and local policy strategy with business leaders, policy, communications, legal and operations experts Build and maintain CHS relationships with key government officials and manage state consultants in key operating states Represent and maximize CHS involvement in coalitions and trade associations to advance CHS interests and shape their respective agendas.
