Model Risk Consultant - Financial Crime/Operational Risk

Location: On site at location listed in job posting SUMMARY At First Horizon, the Senior Model Risk Consultant, under the supervision of the Director of Model Risk Management, will be responsible for executing best-in-class model validation activities to ensure models across First Horizon are conceptually sound relative to their intended use and performing as expected as well as ensuring compliance with our bank-wide model risk management framework including its policies and procedures. This key member of the Model Risk Management team will work closely with model developers, owners, and business units to ensure effective governance and minimize model risk. Designs an individualized plan of care and fosters a team approach by working collaboratively with the patient or member, family, primary care provider, and other members of the health care team to ensure coordination of services. Continuously evaluates laboratory results, diagnostic tests, utilization patterns and other metrics to monitor quality and efficiency results for assigned population. Job Duties The Acute Pain RN is a clinical position working directly with the Anesthesia team and OR team. This position will be dedicated to OSW and provide cross coverage at GMC when volume dictates. The Acute Pain RN provides comprehensive patient-centered pain management to optimize recovery, including multimodal pain management and opioid-sparing techniques. In addition, the Acute Pain RN provides oversight during minor sedation events, continually monitoring the pain management plan for the patient, in collaboration with the Anesthesiologist. This role is 24 hours weekly; 8-hours shifts; 630a - 12p; hours can vary based on case volume. Location will be primarily at OSW within the Pre / Post and OR. Sedation Certification required within 18 months of hire. Inserts, monitors, regulates and discontinues IVs as required by provider. Administers medications, IV push medications, and topical medications. Routinely inspects and observes condition and operation of diagnostic equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and identify need for preventive and corrective maintenance. May clean, sterilize and prepare instruments, according to established protocols, to ensure required level of asepsis and adequate availability. Position Details GP2 is a 24-bed advanced acute care unit. They provide complex patient care for a wide variety of medical diagnoses that require inpatient care and hospitalization. This includes the need for telemetry and frequent observation. They see patients with pneumonia, COPD, cardiac conditions, renal disorders, GI disorders and sepsis as well as postoperative patients. GP2 is an ideal unit for those who enjoy a fast-paced environment and enjoy working as a team. GP2 works closely with the emergency room and PACU departments. GP2 offers a valuable experience for those who want to pursue ER work or may have an interest in becoming a critical care nurse in the future.
