POSITION OBJECTIVE We are seeking an attorney to join the Estates & Trusts practice group in our Pittsburgh office. The attorney will work closely with our practice group on all facets of estate planning, business succession planning, and the administration of estates and trusts. Some of the key responsibilities are listed below: Draft estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate and succession plan documents. Incorporate estate tax planning strategies including irrevocable and revocable trusts, wills, Spousal Lifetime Access Trusts (SLATs) and Grantor Retained Annuity Trusts (GRATs). Provide analysis and counsel to clients on legal and tax issues relating to estate planning and administration. Perform thorough legal research, identifying necessary information to navigate and guard against legal risks facing the client. Provide support for disputes involving fiduciary responsibility, estates and trusts, and other family matters. Prepare inheritance tax returns as well as federal estate and gift tax returns.
