Full-time No call CAP-accredited, full-service laboratory operating 24/7, 365 days a year Two Pathologists on staff providing diagnostic support and oversight Team of 36 professionals , including Phlebotomists, Medical Laboratory Technicians, Clinical Laboratory Scientists, and Medical Technologists Comprehensive test menu covering Chemistry, Special Chemistry, Hematology, Serology, and Urinalysis Blood Bank maintains a full inventory of red cells and frozen plasma for multiple blood types, offering complete testing capabilities Microbiology Department performs cultures, rapid antigen testing, and PCR testing for respiratory and enteric pathogens Rapid identification and resistance testing for positive blood cultures , with sensitivity panels available for infection management Histology Department processes all surgical specimens in-house, providing slide preparation, special stains, and scheduled frozen sections Integrated with Quest Diagnostics for efficient turnaround on reference testing For over 38 years the system has provided care to a service area population numbering about 35,000 people.
