The program is designed to build internal workforce capacity and support succession planning within the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and related procedural areas. The program offers flexible hours to accommodate educational obligations. Minimum requirements are 8 hours per week and a maximum of 24 hours per week. 1. Assist with preparation and setup of cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and structural heart procedures. 2. Support physicians and advanced practice providers during invasive procedures. 3. Perform imaging functions under supervision consistent with educational pathway and regulatory standards. 4. Assist with hemodynamic monitoring and documentation. 5. Maintain sterile field and procedural workflow. 6. Prepare and position patients, ensuring safety and comfort. 7. Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection prevention protocols. 8. To operate multiple pieces of equipment that are utilized. To troubleshoot equipment issues. Admits and orients patient to electrophysiology lab according to pre-procedural checklist. Accurately enters patient information to database, hemodynamic and x-ray systems. Explains testing procedure to patient and/or significant others including exam to be performed, type of contrast media used, length of exam and equipment necessary to perform exam. Qualifications Licenses / Certifications / Registrations: Current CPR certification required or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required within six (6) months from date of hire into classification.
