What You Bring to the Table (Besides Your Clinical Expertise) Education and Licensure Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Iowa, or ability to obtain Iowa licensure. CPR certification required. Strong knowledge of infection prevention and clinical best practices. Leadership and Clinical Experience Minimum of two to three years of nursing leadership experience, preferably within skilled nursing, transitional care, or long-term care. Previous Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, Unit Manager, or comparable clinical leadership experience preferred. Demonstrated experience leading nursing teams, managing staffing, and developing employees. Proven ability to oversee clinical systems, resident care, and regulatory compliance. Clinical and Operational Knowledge Strong knowledge of Iowa state and federal long-term care regulations. Experience with survey preparation, plans of correction, clinical audits, and QAPI initiatives. Strong assessment, care-planning, documentation, and clinical decision-making skills.
