We seek a Medical Director/Psychiatrist who is Board Eligible or Board Certified Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team in Wickenburg, AZ. Full Time and Onsite. It is located in Wickenburg, Arizona on 14 beautiful acres, high in the Sonoran Desert, with breathtaking views of the Bradshaw Mountains. Facility is licensed as an inpatient behavioral health facility and residential behavioral facility, which enables us to treat adults and adolescents with the most severe eating disorder. Responsibilities Include: • Work closely with Chief Medical Officer, nursing and therapy leadership in programming development. • Provides supervision to psychiatrists and psychiatric NPs under his/her supervision. • Collaborate with Admissions department to review and prepare potential admissions. • Conduct initial Psychiatric evaluations and weekly follow-up sessions to include psychotropic medication management. • Maintain current progress notes. • Communicate with referring providers and family members as needed. • Contribute individualized notes for Discharge Planning. • Maintain compliance with all standards set by agencies with oversight of this facility and the practice of Psychiatry. Qualifications: • MD or DO degree with active Medical License. • Must hold BLS/CPR prior to starting work on site; we can arrange training if needed. • Two years of clinical experience desired • Valid DEA certificate (or be eligible for DEA privileges). • Experience in Residential or Inpatient levels of care is preferred
