To support this growth, Surface Engineering brought in an advanced Okuma MULTUS mill-turn platform and is looking for a highly capable machinist/programmer to take ownership of the machine and help establish long-term process success. The Work You'll Be Doing In this role, you will: Program, set up, and run an Okuma MULTUS B-axis mill-turn platform Establish and improve workholding strategies and machining processes Develop and optimize CNC programs for highly complex round components with hundreds of machined features Work closely with operators and support personnel assigned to the machine Troubleshoot setups, tooling, cycle times, and process improvements Perform first-article and in-process inspection Collaborate with engineering and quality teams Support Fanuc robotic automation initiatives when applicable Help move operations toward increasingly automated lights-out production Many parts involve highly complex geometries used in precision motion systems and semiconductor equipment.
