Overview: Six Flags Darien Lake is seeking energetic, reliable, and team-oriented individuals to join our Janitorial & Groundskeeping team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests. Team Members will help ensure the park, resort accommodations, and surrounding grounds meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. Responsibilities: Janitorial Duties: * Clean and sanitize restrooms, guest areas, lodging accommodations, and common spaces * Empty trash and recycling receptacles throughout the park and resort * Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas * Restock supplies (paper products, soap, toiletries, etc.) * Respond promptly to spills and guest service calls * Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines Groundskeeping Duties: * Maintain landscaping, lawns, flower beds, and walkways * Pick up litter and debris throughout park grounds * Operate basic landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers) * Assist with seasonal planting and general outdoor upkeep * Support park beautification and special event preparation Qualifications: Qualifications: * Must be at least 18 years of age * Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions * Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs * Strong attention to detail and cleanliness * Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills * Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays Preferred Skills: * Prior custodial, housekeeping, or landscaping experience * Experience operating basic maintenance or landscaping equipment * Customer service experience in a hospitality or theme park setting Why Join Six Flags Darien Lake? * Competitive pay * Flexible scheduling * Free park admission and employee perks * Opportunities for growth and advancement * Fun, team-oriented work environment
