License and active registration as a physician assistant or registered nurse/nurse practitioner in New York State. Physician Assistant: Bachelor's or equivalent degree in physician assistant studies and successful completion of physician assistant training program approved by the NYS Department of Education or accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, or a program that is determined by the Department to be the substantial equivalent of a licensure qualifying or accredited program. Job Description Our Urgent Care in Latham is looking for a Full Time LPN to join their team! This is a 40 hour week. The hours are: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:45am-5:00pm, and every other weekend Saturday, Sunday 10:00am-7:30pm. This position is eligible for up to a $3,500 recruitment and retention bonus Responsibilities: Administer and record vaccines. Document verbal conversations with patients when appropriate. Document information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner. Maintain timely patient flow. Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements. Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider. Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
