We have the following shift options to offer: 9:00 pm - 5:00 am Sunday - Thursday - .50 shift premium. 5:00 am - 5:00 pm Friday-Sunday - $3.00 shift premium- 2 positions open Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Follow all Company policies, procedures, and guidelines as well as take actions that support teamwork, safety, contamination control, and efficiency. Follow the pre-production, make ready, and production run tasks. Operate powered equipment. Occasionally, train workers on the Die Cutting Machine operations, including the feeding and take-off functions. Ensure the work area is clean, and that non-conforming, overruns, and/or waste are delivered to the appropriate repository. Cross-train as assigned. Follow and adhere to all Personal Protective Equipment rules and regulations. Perform other responsibilities as assigned. Required Qualifications Be able to perform work-related math functions (which include the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide). Accurately read and use measuring devices. Experience with hand tools. Have sufficient skill and experience with troubleshooting. Must be able to multitask. Must be able to lift 10-15 pounds continuously, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Have the ability to stand long hours, stop, crouch, kneel, crawl, climb, and use hands and wrists continuously in controlled movement. Good verbal and written comprehension, with the ability to receive and follow instructions. Ability to thrive in a team environment and work independently with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Bobst 106 Expertcut, Spanthera, and Vision Cut Die Cut Machinery . Some supervisory experience is a plus. Fluent in Spanish and English. About the Role As an Offset Second Press Operator , you’ll play a critical role in delivering exceptional print quality, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment. Working closely with the First Press Operator, you’ll assist with press make-readies, equipment operation, and quality control while providing leadership and guidance to the press crew. This position is key to achieving productivity, quality, and safety goals. What You’ll Do Follow all standard operating procedures and safety guidelines. Verify job specifications, including paper size, color, ink, and other details. Monitor color and registration accuracy with demonstrated proficiency. Inspect printed sheets and make adjustments to correct spacing, ink distribution, and other quality issues. Assist in plate changes and press adjustments as needed. Re-thread paper and adjust tension rollers when web breaks occur. Provide training, direction, and support to junior crew members. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area. The Mechanic plays an essential role in helping the plant provide high quality product and efficient service to our customers by minimizing operational downtime. Day-to-day responsibilities of this role include performing various types of maintenance work on printing press equipment, such as: Skillfully conduct inspections, preventative, proactive and repair type maintenance activities on all production related equipment, to include bearings, belts and chains, coupling alignment, gear boxes, bench work; pumps, rebuilding and overhauling; conveyor maintenance, fans and blowers, robotics, electric motor replacement and diagnostics. Utilize and maintain assembly and part drawings to determine part quality and conformity. Follow SOP’s, and written procedures, to perform all types of proactive and preventative maintenance tasks, repairs and rebuilds on all production related equipment.
