Key Responsibilities\n As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your primary responsibilities will include: \n \n Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify the emotional, social, and environmental strengths and challenges faced by patients and their families during hospitalization. \n Formulating, developing, and implementing intervention plans using appropriate therapeutic approaches, including individual, group, and family therapy. \n Collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, involving patients and their families in care planning and implementation to ensure alignment with their needs and desires. \n Facilitating discharge planning by coordinating with healthcare providers, third-party payers, and other stakeholders to create effective transition plans that support ongoing recovery. \n Providing education and counseling to families on issues related to the patient’s illness and coping strategies, ensuring they feel supported throughout the process. \n Utilizing crisis intervention strategies as necessary to address acute behavioral health challenges. \n Serving as a resource for fellow healthcare professionals, contributing to their understanding of psychosocial issues in the context of patient care. \n Participating in educational initiatives by presenting at conferences and conducting workshops related to psychosocial oncology practice. \n Engaging in community services through education, research, and volunteerism to enhance socially supportive programs for individuals affected by addiction. \n Providing specialized clinical evaluations for patients experiencing mental health concerns such as depression and anxiety, particularly among those involved in oncology treatments. \n Being available for on-call rotations to promptly address after-hours patient concerns. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n The primary focus of this role is on individuals undergoing detoxification and treatment for substance use disorders, as well as patients managing co-occurring mental health conditions. You will engage with a diverse range of patients from varied backgrounds, providing them with tailored interventions aimed at fostering resilience and recovery. Qualifications\n To qualify for this position, candidates must possess: \n \n A current state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). \n A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, with a Master’s degree preferred. \n Demonstrated experience in behavioral health settings, particularly in substance use or mental health treatment. \n Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and discharge planning processes. \n Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills necessary to collaborate effectively with patients and multidisciplinary teams. \n Preferred Experience\n Preferred candidates will have experience working in detox or addiction treatment settings and familiarity with health care regulations as they pertain to substance abuse and mental health services. Experience with telehealth practices and tools is a strong plus. Compensation and Benefits\n This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
